MarinersXchange
Ltd.
shall receive 35% of the selling
price of each item as a commission. Consignment
merchandise will have a seven (7) day
money back guarantee, therefore, payouts to the owner will be processed no
sooner than twenty one (21) days
after the sale of any item. The Consignor agrees to wait for payment until MarinersXchange Ltd. has received full, non-refundable payment(s)
for the item(s). There
will be a 10% charge of the initial price on consignment items removed from MarinersXchange
Ltd. within sixty (60) days of
being put on consignment. Consignees
must keep MarinersXchange Ltd. informed of current address and phone number.
In the case of MarinersXchange Ltd.
being unable to contact an Consignee by phone or in writing concerning offers MarinersXchange
Ltd. will exercise its best judgement on accepting offers based on an offer,
length of time the merchandise has been on consignment and current new prices
for like items. Consignment
merchandise may be returned to owners for a variety of reasons, including but
not limited to: lack of demand, returned due to defect. MarinersXchange
Ltd. will send out a Notification of Retrieval informing the Consignee that
we desire to return an item or items to them.
If the Consignee does not retrieve merchandise within twenty-one (21)
days after notice to retrieve is mailed, said merchandise would become the
property of MarinersXchange Ltd. Most
items may be discounted daily at a fixed rate of 1/2%
per day; ·
Older
electronics, bulky items, toilets, cushions, upholstery, dirty items and items
needing repair may be discounted daily at a fixed rate of up to 3%
per day or discarded; ·
Sails,
propellers and propeller shafts may be discounted daily at a fixed rate of 1/2%
per day. Discount
example for an item with initial price of $100 discounted at a fixed rate of 1/2% per day: ·
Initial
price = $100.00 ·
Price
after 100 days = $50.00 ·
Price
after 200 days = $ 0.00 Property
unsold or unclaimed by the Consignor after the price has been reduced to zero
may be disposed of in any manner by MarinersXchange
Ltd. The
Consignor may have an item re-priced by the Consignor locating the item in the
store and bringing it to the front counter.
In the case of a large item, please ask for help.
If
the Consignor cannot assist in locating the item(s), the Consignor should take
note that locating an item may be a difficult task, we may not know what it
looks like, and it may also have been hidden or placed in the wrong section.
The price will not be changed until the item(s) have been located.
Limited
liability for consigned items MarinersXchange
Ltd.
is to be saved harmless from any costs, obligations or liabilities arising from
the sale of the Consignor's item(s). Item(s)
are left at the Consignor's risk and expense and remain the Consignor's
responsibility until sold and/or removed. In case of fire, smoke, water,
earthquake, destruction of the whole or part of the building, break and enter or
vandalism, MarinersXchange Ltd. shall
be saved harmless or to any cost related to lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged
items. MarinersXchange Ltd. assumes
no responsibility whatsoever for items placed outside the building.
All items sold as is where is
without any warranties, representations or conditions.
