marinersXchangeTransplanted Norwegian Lars Pedersen started his sailing career at an early age. After settling on the West Coast of Canada, the ocean and sailing again became an important part of his life. After spending many years in another business, Lars could see the need for a marine consignment store in the greater Vancouver area. A 4000 sq. ft. warehouse was located in the historic seafaring village of Steveston, British Columbia where MarinersXchange was established in May of 2000. MarinersXchange is growing by leaps and bounds, and has become a place for unique and hard to find items, or just about anything for that power or sailboat. Lars' other interest, "Ham Radio" began at an early age in his native Norway.
